How do exosomes work? How can they support skin regeneration after sunburn, laser treatments, or scar therapy? On July 9th , we invite you to participate in the webinar "Exosomes, cell-free cell therapy – a transdermal activator of regenerative processes ," during which experts will examine exosomes from three perspectives: scientific, clinical, and technological. The webinar will be led by Lidia Majewska, MD, PhD, Agnieszka Kondraciuk, PhD, and Piotr Jastrzębski, MSc.

The meeting will be devoted to the mechanisms of action of exosomes, their safety, possible applications in regenerative therapies, and the importance of quality and standardization of preparations used in office work.

Exosomes in skin regeneration – scientific knowledge, clinical practice and technology

Exosomes are one of the most important topics in contemporary regenerative and aesthetic medicine. Their potential lies in their participation in intercellular communication and supporting the skin's natural repair processes.

During the webinar, experts will discuss the use of exosomes in skin regeneration following UV exposure, laser treatments, and the treatment of challenging hypertrophic and atrophic scars. Participants will learn both the biological foundations of exosomal therapies and the practical aspects of planning treatment protocols.

An important part of the meeting will also be the topic of exosome quality – from cell culturing, through nanoparticle separation, to assessing whether a given product actually contains standardized exosomes and not just structures referred to as “exosomal.”

Webinar topics

The meeting program will include three complementary presentations:

Dr. Lidia Majewska, MD, PhD, will discuss the safety, mechanism of action, and examples of exosome applications based on current scientific publications. This section is dedicated to understanding the biological basis of exosomal therapies and their potential use in skin regeneration processes.

Dr. Agnieszka Kondraciuk will present regenerative protocols for the treatment of challenging hypertrophic and atrophic scars. The presentation will be practical and will cover issues related to problem assessment, selection of treatment steps, and leveraging the potential of standardized ASCEplus exosomes to support skin regeneration.

Piotr Jastrzębski, M.Sc., Eng. , will discuss the technological background of working with exosomes—from cell culturing, through the nanoparticle separation process, to quality and standardization. Participants will learn why not every nanoparticle described as "exosomal" is a true exosome and the importance of how it is obtained.
