Effective use of platelet-rich fibrin in veterinary medicine

Step by step treatment process
The dog came to Dawet's office for a consultation because he had been hit by a car a few days earlier and was unable to stand on his right pelvic limb.
After taking a series of X-rays, the mixed breed was diagnosed with an ankle sprain and underwent surgery, during which the ankle was stabilized with a plate and a plaster cast was applied.
The dog had a laceration on the metacarpus and phalanges, completely torn epidermis and significant skin loss, which made it impossible to stitch the wound. Therefore, it was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and an antibiotic (clindamycin) and gel dressings were applied locally.
